This new edition includes Jim Guthrie's legendarily epic Sword & Sworcery LP in its entirety. Fitting into the continuum of great adventure games on PC, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP has been re-engineered by videogame wizards at Capy to be a faithful representation of the original touchtronic edition, only it has been adapted to better fit the input style of the two-button mouse. The new edition looks & sounds pretty fancy, plus it's still pretty darn affordable, so we're hoping to connect with a whole new audience with this 'choice cut of myth & dreams' that has been hilariously described as "A landmark achievement, it does for independent game design what the Washington Monument did for independent obelisk design" (Rob Dubbin, Kill Screen Magazine).

/////////////////////////////////////////////// NEW S&S CLIP + SCNTFC REMIX EXCERPT + WALLPAPER

Have you seen the new S&S clip "The New Edition for Electric Computers?"

Enjoying the music in that clip? Yep, us too. That's a remix of Jim Guthrie's song The Ballad of the Space Babies. The new mix is by Scntfc aka @scntfc, who also provided lunatic soundscapes for a hidden room in S:S&S EP known as The Moon Grotto, a location that only a few of you have found (you need to get to Session 3 & fight The Grizzled Boor on Side B, retrieve his key & use it on the locked door on the road up to Mingi Taw near the stone tablet with the lunar pictrograms).

CONFESSION: We had to mess with Scntc's remix a bit for the clip... but you'll be able to enjoy the full-length song via Scntfc's Moon Grotto 7" when it is delivered on vinyl (with a puzzling package design from Superbrothers Inc) to the folks who kickstarted Venus Patrol last fall. Scntc's remix will also probably be available via the internet a little later on, date is still super TBD on that but you'll hear about it here on the Teletex when the time comes. If you're desperate for more #sworcery soundscapes from Scntfc, you may wish to closely investigate the old fashioned new edition of S:S&S EP for the electric computer.

Jim Guthrie has a third pressing of the S&S LP vinyl, it comes comes with a limited edition print from Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward, who is just about the nicest person you can possibly imagine (see him & some sworcery beardos talk via the internet here).

You can order the S&S LP record on vinyl or on audiocassette while supplies last at Jim Guthrie's internet record shop.

We're pretty slammed at Superbrothers HQ these days but we're sometimes able to take illustration commissions, this one was a real treat.
